Two people. Six apps.
Pixello is an independent studio in Toronto making native apps for Apple platforms. Each one does a single job, starts without an account and keeps your data yours.
How we got here
-
2021: The studio opens
Pixello starts in Ottawa as a one-person studio, making small, purpose-built utilities for Mac and iPhone.
-
2023: TopLeft and Focus
A life planner with four corners and five horizons, and a Pomodoro timer whose colour drains as the minutes pass.
-
2024 to 2025: Time off
A long break from shipping, and a long look at what Pixello should make next.
-
2026: Two desks in Toronto
A second person and a move to Toronto. Per Push in August, Neuron in September, then GHIM. Qiv is next.
What we hold to
No account to begin.
Download it and start. You shouldn’t have to hand over an email address before you know whether an app is any good.
Your data stays yours.
Plans, cards, sessions and quotes live on your devices, and the apps that sync use your own iCloud.
One job per app.
If an app needs a second job, it’s probably a second app. That’s why there are six of them, not one that does everything badly.
Native, properly.
Each app is built for the screens it runs on, from Apple Watch to Vision Pro, with the controls you already know.
Where each app runs.
